Ian Cooper
Retirement Luncheon

A retirement luncheon was held at Robbies Restaurant, Ottawa on Tuesday 6th April 2010 to once again honour S/Sgt Retired, Ian Cooper for his invaluable services to the RCMP Veterans' Association for taking on the Administrative Services function at the RCMP HQ Veterans' Office.

Ian initially was part time but when the Executive Director, Bill Gidley had heart surgery and is now recuperating and beginning the road to recovery, Ian has worked full time and made the office run smooth as silk.

The past three weeks Ian has been training Ms. Jennifer Elliott, our new full time Administrative Assistant and no doubt has been well trained by Ian.

The RCMP Veterans' Association will miss Ian's vast knowledge and experience and we wish him well in all that lies ahead for his future when he takes his final command - "reins over and lead out" on Friday the 9th April 2010.

Well Done Ian and all the best.

Left to Right:  Bill Gidley, John Religa, Cal Small, Jennifer Elliott, Ian Cooper and Alex Geddes.
